The first Piadina shop in Lake Maggiore was started by Alex, his brother Mattia and his father, Bruno Palumbo in 1998. Mattia still owns and operates Piada Planet today.

The Piadina was born in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy but now has variations throughout Europe, We make piadina riminese, or Rimini style. Rimini is a low-key coastal town on the Adriatic Sea where you can find beautiful beaches and tons of fresh street food.
